Dr. KVSG Murali Krishna founded the Environmental Protection Society (EPS) in 1992 at the start of his successful career as a lovable Professor, renowned author and an enthralling orator. He currently serves as the Vice Chancellor (I/C) of JNTUK Kakinada.

 

In his career, he went on to publish 80 research papers and 24 books - general and technical, followed throughout the world. He has addressed people of all walks of life in the nooks and corners of India. Some of his notable talks were delivered at the prestigious institutes (IITs, NITs, IIITs, IISc). He delivered his talks in 11 countries. He visited 25+ countries across Asia, Europe, North America.

Dr. Murali Krishna completed his Bachelors and Masters, both from SVNIT, Surat. He did his PhD in Air Pollution Control Technology. He was the Head of Civil Engineering Department, Coordinator of Industrial Consultancy Services, and Director of Foreign Universities and Alumni Relations at JNTUK Kakinada, the 2nd largest technological university of India with 0.25 million students in 270 colleges affiliated to it.

He is a voracious reader, prolific writer and a great orator who can inspire, motivate and enlighten anybody with his knowledge. He is articulate in English, Telugu and Hindi and quotes several scriptures in 16 languages. He describes himself as an ardent lover of nature, first and last. He has 80 Research papers published in National and International journals. Out of the 24 Books penned by him, some of the best sellers are: The Inspirer, Mastering LIFE SKILLS, Gateway to JOBS, JOY of Engineering, Air Pollution Control, Environmental Studies and Muraleeyam (only Telugu Book). His 600-page “Finishing School Work Book for Engineering/MCA Graduates” is published by REEMAP, Govt. of A.P. in 2014. He is also popular with his Muraliam in Youtube/Radio FM 90.8 and counseling sessions in DD, UCC Channel & Janata TV. He brought 100% results in providing Jobs in MNCs as Coordinator of Special Training Programs (STP) run by IEG, Govt. of A.P. and later Academic Convener of Finishing School run by E.G. District and Coordinator-Finishing Schools under REEMAP, Govt. of A.P.

He is a Member of Committee of APPCB, EGDt, AP; Scrutinizer of Solid Waste Management ISWM under Swacchha Bharat for AP & Chairman of Environmental Committee of Rs. 300 Crore Samalkot Rajahmundry Canal Road Project and Rs 400 Crore Widening of Kakinada-Rajahmundry ADB Raod. He received several appreciation awards like Bharat Excellence Award-2002 by FFI, New Delhi, Teacher of the Year- 2010 by JNTUK University; Vocational Excellence Award-2013 from Rotary Club; Service to Society through dedication in duty-2011 by E.G. District, Best Teacher Award-2012, from JNTUK University based on students’ on-line evaluation and Award for Excellence in Teaching-2013 by Indo Global Education Summit. He received a Rs. 1 lakh Cash Award-2009 from IEG, Govt. of A.P. for his service to STPs for the SC/ST & other Socially & Economically challenged sections of the society. He is the recipient of “Best Teacher Award-2015” by Government of A.P., India. He is appointed as a Member-SEAC [State Experts Appraisal Committee for A.P.], Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change, Govt of India till 13.11.2017. He is Expert for Technical & Economic Appraisal to HPCSAC (High Power Committee for Swachha Andhra Corporation), Govt. of AP, w.e.f. 12.10.2015. He is the Founder Principal of Government’s University College of Engineering JNTUK, Narasaraopet, Guntur Dist., AP. W.e.f. 09.06.2016.
