It is essential for large scale organizations/industries to develop management and employee commitment to the protection of environment with clear assignment and responsibility. Environmental Protection Society is a Government-recognized Centre for Training in Environmental Protection. NIEE organizes 3-day. 1-week and 2-week training programs for employers working in private and Government organizations like Irrigation departments, Forest, Mining, Power, Cement, Chemical, Paper, Steel, Fertilizer industries, etc. in the premises of the organization itself or any other place of their choice. Industrial employees/participants are trained on all important sub-Environmental science, engineering and management such as Concepts of Neology, Impacts of Man, Science and Technology on Man and Environment; Environmental Ethics, Environmental Law and Judicial attitude, Citizens’ Role, Environmental Issues and Controversies; Rural, Municipal and Industrial Water Management; Air Pollution and its Control Technology, Environmental Sanitation, Environmental Quality Monitoring; Industrial Waste Management, etc.

Training programs conducted by this center are found to be very fruitful for industries willing to work as per IS0 Specifications. All the Participants are given a lot of course material in the form of about six books freely and finally a Certificate of Training, Industries may contact the Director- NIEE for more information about the conduct of these training programs.
